Your Warranty

Block Exemption Rules introduced in 2010 state that an independent garage can carry out normal servicing and repairs during the vehicle’s warranty period without invalidating the warranty provided that:

• Manufacturer approved** oils, fluids and filters are used.
• The service is carried out according to the manufacturer's service schedule and is recorded as such.

This means you are not tied to the vehicle manufacturer franchise and can have your car serviced by an independent garage without affecting your warranty. 

With as much as 40% of running costs going towards maintenance this will help to:

• Keep repair costs down.
• Ensure you don't have to wait too long or travel too far for servicing.

In order uphold your vehicle warranty we will carry out all servicing according to your vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines and their recommended service intervals. We only use oils, fluids and filters approved** for use on your vehicle by its manufacturer and all parts used are of OEM standard.

Using approved service parts and oils will also:

• Minimise wear and tear and unnecessary maintenance/repairs.
• Protect the vital emission control systems on your vehicle e.g.. catalytic converter or diesel particulate filter.
• Offer the best environmental performance and best fuel consumption.
• Prevent any impact on your vehicle warranty.

** Although many products will claim to meet the manufacturer’s specification they are not approved for use during the warranty period. Only after severe testing by the manufacturer will they grant approved status to a product. Use of approved products will ensure your warranty remains intact.
