Will my warranty be affected if I use an independent garage?

The government passed legislation called the “Block Exemption” which now enables independent garages to carry out your vehicle service without any impact on your warranty. In addition to this, we guarantee that your service will be carried our according to your vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines and their recommended service intervals. We only use oils approved for use on your vehicle by its manufacturer and if parts are needed, we use genuine replacement parts of OE standard.  

Can you service my new car or van?

Yes we can. From your very first service we can look after you. The team at Dave’s Garage is well-known for its expertise and uses the latest equipment to support and carry out vehicle servicing and repairs. The team works with all makes and models of vehicle all while protecting your warranty. 

What happens if my vehicle needs repairs?

If our team discovers issues with your vehicle, we always get in touch to explain what the problem is, what it means for you and your vehicle, and what the options are for repair. We will also provide you with a quote for any repairs we recommend are carried out. It is entirely up to you whether you proceed with our recommendations and we will never commence work without first having authorisation from you to do so.  

Do you offer a drop-off and collection service?

Yes. Simply deliver your vehicle to us and we can arrange to drop you off and collect you from your home or workplace in Castlebar. 

What are your opening hours?

Dave’s Garage is open 9.00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
