The team at Dave’s Garage believes the best way to maintain your vehicle’s safety, performance and value, not to mention reliability, is to have it properly maintained through regular servicing. We offer different service packages to ensure your car gets exactly what it needs.

Below is just an example of what work is carried out during servicing. We will always be guided by the manufacturer’s recomendations.

Minor Service

• Replace engine oil filter
• Check all lights & bulbs, focus headlights
• Check tyre pressures, thread depths and condition.
• Check front and rear brake pads and discs / shoes and drums.
• Check both the level and condition of brake, clutch, power steering and gearbox fluids.
• Check the suspension including shocks, struts, springs, bushings and drop links.
• Lubricate door locks and hinges.
• Reset service reminder and fit service sticker.
• Update service book / online digital service record / in car service reminder.
• Test drive.

Full service

• All items as pre minor service
• Replace fuel filter*
• Replace air filter*
• Replace pollen filter*
• Replace spark plugs*

Items marked * are replaced according to the manufacturers service schedule.

Digital / Online Service Records

As you will be aware, an up to date, accurate service history will enhance a car’s resale value. Many manufacturers are now using online or digital service records in place of the traditional service book. Service and repair information is now stored on a secure online database and may form part of the warranty conditions. This is updated each time the car is serviced so your vehicle will have a complete service history that can never be lost. We are fully registered with all the relevant car makers and can update your digital service record when we carry out servicing or repairs. We can provide you with a printout of the service entry when you get your service done with us.
